SOUTH INDIA HERITAGE TOUR

Day 01 / Arrive at Chennai 

Arrive at Chennai and check into the hotel and half day loal sightseeing Mariana Beach, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Fort St.George, Museum, St.Thomas Church, St.Thomas Mount. Evening  at Leisure. Stay Overnight.

Day02/Chennai(ExcursiontoKanchipuram&Mahabalipuram)                                                     

After breakfast proceedfor the Local Sight seeing places like Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram and Back to the hotel and stay overnight.

  

Day03/ChennaiPondichery                                                                                                                                           

After Breakfast Proceed to Pondhicherry . Drive, and check into hotel and Relax. Day at Leisure evening relax at beach.. Stay Overnight.

Day/04Pondichery                                                                                                                                              After Breakfast go for the Local sight seeing places like sree Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, The French Institute & Raj Nivas and back to the hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 05 / Pondichery – Chidambaram – Thanjavur
After breakfast proceed to Thanjavur enroute visit Nataraja Temple ( 175 Kms. Drive, 4 Hours Journey ) Check into hotel and Stay Overnight. Day at Leisure

 

  

Day 06 / Thanjavur 

Go for local sight seeing places like Sree Brahadeeswara Temple, Nabagraha temple, Palace, Art Gallery, Saraswathy Mahal Library, Schwartz Church and back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 07 /ThanjavurMadurai                                                                                

Proceed to Madhurai ( 175 Kms. 4 Hours Journey ) and check into hotel and Relax. Evening visit the Famous Meenakshi Temple,Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Gandhi Musuem, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam and back to the hotel and stay overnight.

 

  

Day08/Maduurai(ExcursiontoRameshwaram) 

Proceed to Rameshwaram ( 175 kms. Drive, 4 Hours One Way ) and Visit the Famous Sree Ramanathaswami Temple, Kothanda Ramaswami Temple, Gandhamadana Parvatham and back to madhurai for the overnight stay.

Day 09 / Madurai to Kanyakumari (On Excursion)
Early Morning Check out hotel at 06:00 hrs from Madurai and Proceed to Kanyakumari by Road (240 kms) Check in Hotel at Kanyakumari Visit to Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Wax museum & View sunset and back & overnight at Madurai.


  

Day 10 / Madurai – Trichy

Morning proceed to Trichy . halfday local sightseeing Lord Robert Clive's house and  Danish Church, the Rock-Fort & A climb of 434 steps leads to the ancient temple of Ganapati on top and a further climb to a Shiva temple. Overnight at Trichy.

Day 11 / Trichi – Chennai
Morning proceed to Chennai for onward journey.
