Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

DAY 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Arrive at Guwahati Airport. You will be received and assisted to proceed to the land of mountains and mist – Shillong. En route you will visit the Umium Lake which is the largest man made lake of Northeast India.  You can opt for some thrilling boat trip in the lake. Reach your hotel, check in and evening free at leisure. Overnight halt at Shillong.

DAY 02: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
You will be traveling to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on the earth. En route visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak- to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls. Drive back to Shillong for overnight halt.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – JOWAI – SHILLONG
Jowai (64kms/02hrs) the administrative headquarters of the Jaintia Hills. Its main attraction is the Monoliths at Nartiang, once the summer capital of Jaintia King, the Kiang Nongbah Monument – a hollow tower like structure erected by the Jaintia’s in honour of U Kiang Nongbah, a martyr who lost is life fighting against the British, Durga Temple – a small temple which is about 500 years old which still celebrates Durga Puja every year.O/N at Shillong.

 

DAY 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA
Check out at hotel and take a drive to Kaziranga National Park – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sqkms. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. Evening enjoy the traditional Bihu dance of Assam. Overnight at Kaziranga.

DAY 05: KAZIRANGA
You will be awakened by a morning alarm a bit earlier than your usual timing as you will be going for an Elephant ride in the Central Range of the park followed by a Jeep safari in the same range. Afternoon Jeep safari in the Western range of the park. Stay overnight at Kaziranga National Park.

DAY 06: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI
Check out of your hotel after breakfast and proceed to Guwahati - gateway to the Northeast India. At Guwahati visit Umananda Mandir – also known as the Peacock Island. Bashistha Ashram and in the evening you can explore the culture and traditions of the Northeastern States by visiting Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra. Overnight halt at Guwahati.

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to Guwahati airport for your onward destination.

Payment Policy

  • We need following for process your booking Guest Name & Contact Number. Naming List with gender & age.
  • For booking, 50% payment must be done in the time of confirmation & rest of the amount must be cleared 10 days before of the tour start date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Received on or before 30days will be charged and remaining money will be refunded  10% processing fee of the total package cost
  • Cancellation before 10 days including the 10th Day - 50% of Refund.
  • Cancellation less than 10 days of arrival OR no show - N0 Refund.
  • All refunds are processed by the method of payment used in the initial transaction, except in the case of cash payments where the refund is processed through cheque or online transfer.
  • The refund is initiated from our end within 15 working days of receiving the cancellation request.
  • Please note that it may take 5 - 14 days for the money to reflect in your account, depending on your bank, after the refund is imitated from our end.
  • Mid-tour Cancellation – Yes you can cancel but the amount would be non-refundable.

1. Place Overview

Welcome to Assam, Northeast India, situated on the Brahmaputra Valley with State administrative and commercial hub Guwahati, is a city of temples and a Gateway to the natural and unique cultural land of Northeastern India.Pass through the panoramic view of Umium Lake to reach Shillong, the then capital of the British ruled Assam becomes the capital of Meghalaya only after 1972. Situated at an altitude of 1,496 meters AMSL, the city still provides the feeling of being influenced by the British in their lifestyle.When visit Meghalaya try not to miss Cherrapunjee, a small town located on the southern edge of Khasi Hills, a dissected plateau at an altitude of about 4823 feet (1484 m) above mean sea level. It is known as the rainiest rain – belt in the world. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. However, in 1985 Mawsynram surpasses the title of Cherrapunjee as the wettest place on Earth by recording an annual rainfall of 11,872 mm (above 39 feet).The destination that drags the name Assam in the world Tourist map is Kaziranga national Park. A UNESCO World Heritage site and a Tiger Reserve the park is World famous of the one Horned Rhinoceros along with the other game animals like Buffalo, Asiatic Elephant, Tiger and Sambar.
