Today’s attraction: Enroute to Cherrapunjee (56 kms/2.30 hrs) visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city.At Cherrapunjee: Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls.O/N at Shillong.
DAY 03
SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA (ASSAM)
Kaziranga National Park (290 kms/07 hrs) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sqkms. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population.O/N at Kaziranga.

KAZIRANGA
Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30 a.m. / 6.30-7.30 a.m.) in the Central range. Back to resort for breakfast After lunch enjoy another jeep safari in the Western range (2.30 p.m. onwards) of the park - ideal for grassland and big game like One Horned Rhinoceros and Water Buffaloes. Back to the resort before it gets dark.O/N at Kaziranga.
DAY 05
KAZIRANGA – MAJULI - JORHAT
A day excursion to Majuli – a river island amid the River Brahmaputra. Drive to Jorhat Nimati Ghat (100 kms / 02 hrs) to catch the public ferry (boat) to cross the river. Explore Majuli, its Satras, Mishing Tribal villages and its unique lifestyle of Assamese villages. Drive back to ferry Ghat to get the ferry for Jorhat – is a major town and tea research centre of Assam.O/N at Jorhat.
DAY 06
JORHAT – GUWAHATI
Drive back to Guwahati (330 Km/06 Hrs), On arrival at Guwahati visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra – the showcase of Assamese art and culture. Evening at leisure. O/N at Guwahati.
DAY 07
GUWAHATI - SUALKUCHI – HAJO - GUWAHATI
Today explore Sualkuchi (35 Km/02Hrs) where you can see the local women weaving Assam Silk: Paat, Muga and Eri preparing colourful garments and other decorative products with varied fabric and patterns.
Afternoon visit Hajo a meeting place of three religions – Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist. Visit The Hayagriva Madhab Temple - enshrining the Pancha Madhab or the five forms of Vishnu, and Poa Mecca - one fourth of Mecca is a holy place of the Muslims.
