Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR & BITEXCO EXPERIENCE (L, D)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh - the biggest city of Vietnam. On arrival, warmly welcomed by our guide and departure for visiting city tour:

• War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the ‘Requiem’ exhibit is particularly touching, dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict. The courtyard outside contains the spoils of war, namely rusting jets, tanks and cannons captured from the American military machine.

• Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in its creation was shipped from France to Vietnam. Her two 40m towers, topped with iron spires dominate the city’s skyline. The Old Post Office is another example of French colonial architecture and is also the country’s largest post office. 

Have lunch at India restaurant then check in hotel.

Afternoon visit:

Jade emperor Pagoda: Built in 1909 in honor of the supreme Taoist god, this is one of the most spectacularly atmospheric temples in HCMC, stuffed with statues of phantasmal divinities and grotesque heroes. The pungent smoke of incense fills the air, obscuring the exquisite woodcarvings.

• shopping center: free for your shopping time at Ben Thanh market, Sai Gon square, Takashymaya…..

After a few hours of discovering the city, you will enjoy your dinner at Indian restaurant then free for your evening or shopping at Ben Thanh night market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: DAY TRIP TO MEKONG DELTA (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 1,5 hours to My Tho city.

Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River, including four famous islands “Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix”

Stop at one of the floating fish houses, in nets and wire baskets under their house, the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp - a major export product of the region.

Cross the River to the other side, you will stop at a traditional workshop to witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditional music. Enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportation called Xe Loi to travel throughout the villages.

Lunch will be served at the local Restaurant.

We drive to Vinh Trang Pagoda, an ancient southern architectural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old.

We drive another 1,5 hours back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Have dinner at Indian restaurant. Free for your evening or shopping at Ben Thanh night market.

Day 3: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS – FLYING TO DANANG (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, tour guide and driver will pick you up at

your hotel. We drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Ben Dinh tunnels, Cu Chi.

Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat. The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Viet Nam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks. From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period. 

There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)

Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home. 

After a short rest on the way back to city, you will be taken to the airport for a short flight to Danang city. Transfer to hotel for check in then have dinner at Indian restaurant. Free for your evening. Overnight at the hotel in Da Nang city.

Day 4: DAY TRIP TO BANA HILLS & GOLDEN BRIDGE (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, tour guide and bus pick up at your hotel transfer to Ba Na hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden bridge…

Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nin Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours). Or discover Ba Na hills on your own. 

16:00 pm takes cable car down Bana hill then transfer back to Da Nang city.

Have dinner at Indian restaurant. Free for your evening, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: MARBLE MOUNTAINS – MONKEY MOUTAINS - HOI AN ANCIENT CITY (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, check out hotel then departure for tour visit Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures - the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang. Check in the Marble Mountains by elevator up to the top of mountain. Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were built from 19th century by the last dynasty of Viet Nam monarchy, visit Huyền Không and Tàng Chơn caves.

Keep going to see the biggest fascinated cave named as Âm Phủ. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creation. Continue to the next stop - Monkey Mountains, A giant statue Lady Buddha with beautiful background such as mountains and huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoy a fresh breeze.

Have lunch at the Indian Family Restaurant authentic Indian cuisines. After lunch check in hotel then departure for tour in Hoi An Ancient Town. In the past Hoi An was a busy commercial port where the traders around the world came and traded varying types of goods, from silk to ceramics. Some houses in the narrow streets are unchanged from the day they were built: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the Hoi An market … Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops. Free for your shopping.

Have Dinner at Indian restaurant then free for your shopping and overnight at a hotel in Hoi An city.

Da 6: HOI AN - DANANG DEPARTURE (B)

On this day, you are free at your leisure until being picked up and transfer to the airport for the departure flight to India. Room is at your disposal until noon.
